hi, i am 41 yrold female and i have been trying to eliminate the high

levels of this fungus from my body. its mainly in the folds of my

adomen and on the outer skinfolds of my genitals, i also have been

treating it on my scalp. for about 12 yeas i havehad small patches of

this on my body in the soft folds/behind ears and on lower torso,

phyicains have never had told me what it was, continuing togive me

prescrips for vaginal creams to self treat. sometimes it would just

clear up. i havenot hadheavy antibotic usage or a main underlying

diease but i have been overweight and had used oral contraceptives

off and on to correct poly cystic ovarian syndrome. this pass year

this has spread to mostly my gentials and have taken oral fungals and

well as used topicals. i am losing weight and try to limit carbs and

sugars. i do not use sugar as arule sometimes its in prepared food

products. currently i am using supplements capryl, olive leaf tree

extract, live cultures,garlic oil,vit e, flax.i am verylimited on

income and have no insurance. i know that this is mainly a

nutritional problem andi am starting to make the changes to my life.

i live w/daughter and what is bought and prepared in home is what i

have to consume. please if anyone has had any proven success with any

form of medium please post some suggestions, also wheni do have to

go to a phyicain what type should i see for this so i dont spend

money on ineffective help. thanks kerry

Hi Kerry,

Hope you're still out there...

Sounds to me like what you're doing is on the mark. Have you had any

improvements since you started taking the herbal antifungals and

getting rid of sugar? If not you might post some more detailed

information on your diet. Even keep a food journal for a week, then

post it. I'd be glad to look over it, and I'm sure you'd get some

other advice too.

Some questions: Are you sure this is a fungus and opposed to an

allergic reaction for example? When you apply something topical like

garlic oil or tea tree oil, do the patches go away and then return

later? Do you have any other candida like sypmtoms (ex: vaginitis,

nail fungus, digestive problems, extreme fatigue, chronic cystitis

etc)? Just out of curiosity, do you have amalgam fillings in your

mouth? Did something specific happen in your life 12 years ago when

these patches started?
