Guest guest
Hello. I'm relatively new to the list and I am gaining a lot of valuable information. I also have O negative blood, but Mosquitos love me! They also love my 2 year old daughter. Unfortunately she is terribly allergic to the bites. The bites become extremely swollen, become filled with pus, are painful to touch. They take forever to heal and scar. I've tried Callendulla cream on the bites, and citronella in her room and to try to repel them. Can anyone help with a natural remedy, not only to repel the mosquitos, but also to treat the bites? Thank you, Cynthia
Guest guest
Dear Cynthia, Best for the internal approach would be Vit B Complex, Echinacea Tincture (high quality - one dropperful), and Total Tonic (one dropperful). Externally, make a mixture of 60% Organic Castor Oil, 30% Citronella Oil, and 10% Camphor Oil, shake well together and apply liberally. This formula was originated by my Grandfather (an old Canadian country doctor from the early 1900's) and was used by my father and myself in the northern Canadian muskeg on Mosquitos, Black Fly, and Deer Flys and they grow 'em big up thar ;o) Hope this helps.
