My husband has been getting cold sores for years and I finally came up with something that helped him. I take 2 drops of Melissa EO (very expensive but you only need a very little) and drop it into 2 TBLSP of beeswax. He uses this as a chap stick and spreads it where ever he thinks he is getting a cold sore. If he does get one it goes away within a day or two but mostly it keeps them from breaking open the skin.

Hi!

I've been into natural medicine for quite a while now and this list

looks like a really good one ^_^

I have a lot of questions but the main one I have for now is about

cold sores.

I've had them ever since I was a kid, and they always come back, and

last for a long time. I'm wondering what I can do to stop them or

make them go away longer?

I've recently started taking garlic, will this help?

Hi Sabrina,

And welcome to the list. Garlic would definitely help, especially if used in conjunction with a very potent Echinacea tincture. If you want to get rid of them permanently, I'd also recommend the Total Body Cleanse as outlined in the files, with especial attention on the liver.

Hope this helps.

Love,

Doc
