This info is very important to me as I am the guardian of my ex-husband who has TBI and suffers from gran mal seizures. He is often at my home and if he were to have a bad seizure (not breathing - turning blue, etc.) it would take at least 20 minutes for an ambulance to get here. Could be my mind is in neutral tonight, but explain please. A 'large' dose (an oz or more) of Lobelia could very well cause vomitting and is designed to do so. You'll notice I said a 'very strong' Lobelia tincture rather than a 'very large' dosage. Anywheres from two to 4 dropperfuls up to 1/2 an oz (no more) of a 'very strong' Lobelia tincture should bring a person out of a 'grand mal'. Sorry, Traumatic Brain Injury. So... if I understand this right if he went into a seizure I could put up to 4 dropperfuls into his mouth without it causing him to vomit? Also, an herbalist friend of mine told me that the B & B tincture would also work to stop a seizure - what are your thoughts on this. Guest guest
Thanks for explaining that. This along with a Brain Operation is one of the few cases where it might not be as effective, but I'd still give it a try. I'd start off with the two dropperfuls and work up from there going no more than a 1/2 an oz. Please realize that the puking will NOT hurt him should he reach that dosage and may actually be very saluatory for him. But for comforts sake, I'd keep him below the "puke" level. I've also heard that the B & B Tinct will help to stop a seizure but haven't had a chance to check that one out yet. It definitely won't hurt him. My overall thoughts would be to try and correct the brain damage he has already received. The Brain Formula in the files used in conjunction with DMSO (remember DMSO realigns DNA), would be what I'd put him on immediately with a total health building program. With this approach, his seizures would probably stop altogether. Hope this helps.
