Guest guest
I've put William on Cod Liver Oil a few weeks ago. He's the autistic child and CLO makes some autistic kids more vocal. Well, he's been more vocal all right-screaming and screeching like a bat out of hell ( and driving us up the blooming wall, I might add). He has been taking 2500 iu a day(50%rda). I noticed a scaly patch on his arm and wondered if he's getting enough and doesn't need the CLO. I took him off 2 days ago. If he has too much A in his system, what organ do I need to work on? The liver? I have a little liver tea and some tincture left. Should I give that to him? Thanks, Ann in Memphis (with ears ringing!)
Guest guest
Dear Ann, Spot on. Give him the Liver tea and tinc and this should calm him down. Used in conjunction with Lemon Egg Formula, he should smooth right out. Let me know. Guest guest
Doc, I'll start this AM. I was looking in a vitamin book I have and he does eat quite a few high vitamin A foods on a regular basis that I wasn't aware of. The screaming has decreased by about half since Sat(his first day off CLO). I'll keep you posted. We went to the movies yesterday (Monsters Inc) and he watched like he has never watched before. I was just sure I was gonna be shushing him the whole time but he was still and quiet more than he has ever been. I didn't leave there frazzled like I usually do! This is gonna work!!!!!!! Guest guest
Doc, You are free to share anything with anybody about William. I can say that ever since we've been here and followed your recommendations, he has steadily progressed. Even when he has had some regressions-he's still progressing in other areas. Twice now, he's played a very simple computer game without assistance. My sister saw him today and she said what I've been thinking but didn't know how to express it-that he's more aware of things now. The computer game held his interest(it was totally voluntary) whereas before, I would have to stand over him and say " now push the mouse " as part of his school work. Things like that are happening. I know we have a long way to go but I can see that he's coming back to me and for that, I'll never be able to express how much you've impacted our lives!!!!!!! I have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! Love, Ann
