Guest guest
can anyone help me with oral and topical herbs for this complaint (bear in mind it need to be gentle in view of the area affected - perineum area). The lady also has a similar complaint on one finger - the skin keeps growing in layers then cracks off (or she pecks it off ) and it is also affecting her nail - it looks thickened and not as healthy as the others she also gets over growth of skin on heels - chiropodist says is nore than normal what is going on - would a particular organ be involved (tho recent blood tests are all clear) Janice
Guest guest
sounds 'fungal' to me. there are topicals you can try but it may be that an internal fungal preparation may be needed... for the finger, i would start with a soak... aloe vera, chamomile and goldenseal are good for wound healing...cayenne, flaxseed oil and red clover are good for Psoriasis-type ailments...Astragulus heals burns and abcesses and enhances immune system...Evening Primrose is good for relieving skin ailments...Licorice eases skin conditions... i guess i would go with the first 3 in a pan of hot water and soften the skin (on the finger). then use a good brush for exfoliation then aloe vera to finish. i would do this at least 3 x per week until you see a noticable difference then maybe cut back to 2 x per week. it will take a while to get through but with a month you should see a good start. i use sand also. heavy grade clean sand in a tub and you can heat it in the oven or leave it cold, whichever the weather warrants for soothing comfort. then just leave the tub/pan by the chair for the day and when she is sitting there watching tv or whatever, she can put her hand in it to exfoliate..the rubbing action on the sand is a healthy way to exfoliate. her age and condition of skin (too thin) may warrant just the soaks and the aloe vera and not the sand. just my thoughts. robin --- Holistics wrote: > can anyone help me with oral and topical herbs for > this complaint > (bear in mind it need to be gentle in view of the > area affected - > perineum area).
