More than 60 worldwide patents have been registered on this unique biotech process and the BioChoice® products. BioChoice® provides your body with specific IgY antibodies and immune co-factors to give your immune system the support and balance it needs to function properly and protect you effectively. BioChoice® helps combat viruses, fungi and molds. PROVEN TO WORK in human trials and clinical studies done at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Hospital - Boston, U.S. Army - Fort Bliss, Texas and JJ Hospital in Mumbai, India. BioChoice® helps the body protect itself from many autoimmune diseases. BioChoice® is a dietary food supplement with the following structure function claims: Balances and supports the immune system Helps maintain cardiovascular function, a healthy circulatory system and healthy levels of cholesterol Helps maintain digestive tract health Helps modulate autoimmune responses of the body Helps maintain flexible and healthy joints Helps increase energy levels and overall sense of well-being Only 110 calories and 3 grams of fat per serving BioChoice® is a dry egg powder and the essential ingredient of Immune26 and BioChoice® Immune Support Dietary Supplement drink mix. BioChoice® contains active antibodies to over two dozen enteric bacteria. In addition, BioChoice® contains immune co-factors, also referred to as immunoregulatory factors, that are low molecular weight bioactive compounds generated during the DCV immunization process. These life-enhancing, patented BioChoice® products are only available from Legacy for Life. Specific antibodies and other immune co-factors enhance the effectiveness of the immune system. The daily ingestion of passively trnasferred immune co-factors can help provide protection from exposure to foreign agents for Life. High levels of immunoglobulins occurring naturally in eggs and egg products are a common source of protein in human diets. Immune eggs are a convenient and economical source of specific antibodies and other immune co-factors. Discussion -- There is a body of published work suggesting that immunizing farm animals such as hens with inactivated multi-valent bacterial vaccines results in the production of eggs that contain antibodies against the specific vaccinating antigens, along with physiologically active, small molecular weight products that appear to have immunoregulatory function (1-12). Protection against disease by oral administration of antibodies -- Oral consumption of immune eggs containing antibodies can protect against the specific organism(s) for which the hen was vaccinated (13-20). Eggs as a natural source of immune cofactors -- Just as immune protection is transferred in utero or passively by lactating mammals via colostrum in mammals, birds passively transfer protection to their young by secreting antibodies and immune co-factors into their eggs. The transfer of avian IgY antibodies from the hen's serum to the egg and from the egg to the chick is analogous to cross-placental transfer of IgG antibodies from the mammalian mother to its offspring. Bacteria cannot mutate to IgY antibodies as they do with IgG antibodies. Both eggs and milk contain naturally occurring antibodies. However, pound for pound, antibody levels in eggs are significantly higher than in serum or milk (18-22). This is not unexpected, since mammals have several weeks or months to passively transfer immune factors, while birds have only a single opportunity to transfer all necessary survival components to its offspring. Thus, the egg serves as a concentrated source of immune products. DCV Eggs obtained by inoculation of hens -- It is commonly known that commercially available chickens are immunized at birth to protect them from avian diseases. The only difference between commercial eggs and DCV eggs is that the latter are from chickens that have received additional vaccinations consisting of >24 inactivated bacteria of human interest. Some of the organisms used in the vaccine are: specific coliforms, >6 species of Streptococci, Staphylococcus epidermidis and simulans, Pseudomonas aeruginose, and Haemophillus influenzae. (Note: In the DCV vaccination program, only the hens that lay the eggs are vaccinated. Only antibody and immune co-factors are passively transferred to the egg by the inoculated hens. No vaccine components are introduced into the eggs themselves; only the eggs are consumed, not the hens.) How BioChoice® is created -- Weeks after vaccination, and subject to acceptable QA/QC controls, eggs are collected from the inoculated chicken flocks. The eggs are then washed and broken, and the yolk and egg whites are dried to a fine protein powder. The eggs are processed under good manufacturing practices (GMP) in a USDA inspected facility. After processing, they are shipped as a dried egg powder. BioChoice® Description -- BioChoice® is a dietary supplement containing DCV egg powder in conjunction with soy and milk proteins, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, dietary fiber, and flavorants. Nutritive significance -- BioChoice® contains polyclonal antibodies to a wide variety of enteric pathogens and other ingested bacteria. It also contains immune co-factors and 100% of the RDA of antioxidant vitamins A, C, D, E, and K. Metabolism and elimination --Clinical studies indicate there is evidence of antibody absorption. There is possibly degradation of ingested antibodies, and clinical studies document the excretion of active antibodies. Contraindications -- Individuals with egg intolerance or egg allergies should not consume this product. BioChoice® was tested for safety and GRAS self-affirmed by an Expert Panel convened by DCV, which consisted of physicians, scientists, and university professors. The safety results have been reviewed with FDA. Servings and administration -- Recommended use of BioChoice® is 1 to 2 servings per day. BioChoice® drink is mixed with 8 oz. of liquid: juice, milk, or water. Trials -- BioChoice® has been scientifically tested in various trials that include in vivo tests, in vitro tests, pre-clinical tests and human clinical tests. The following list shows the various trials and their titles: Effect of a Nutritious Drink Fortified with Immune Egg in Improving the Weight and Enhancing the Well Being of subjects suffering from wasting syndrome The Inhibitory Effect of Nutrient Drink on the Serum Cholesterol Levels and Total Cholesterol; HDL ratios of U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy Students A Double-Blind Placebo controlled Study of the Effect of Hyperimmune Egg protein on Elevated Cholesterol Levels and Cardiovascular Risk Effect of Immune Egg Protein/White Blend on Serum Cholesterol in Rabbits on Atherogenic Diets The Dampening Effect of DCV Egg Powder on Carrageenan-Induced Neutrophil Migration NSAID-Induced Lesions; Protection of G.I.
