Guest guest
Dear Suzi, You'd use them together. As a preventative, one dropperful of each once a day in the morning on an empty stomach. For someone who had already contracted the plague: One Dropperful of DMSO a day in the morning on an empty stomach. One Dropperful of Echinacea every hour on the hour all day long. Two Dropperfuls of Total tonic every hour on the hour all day long (more of this could be used as necessary). If after 3 weeks the symptoms are not gone, you'd have to give the Echinacea a rest for a week while continuing the others. If a person was melting right in front of me, I'd give them a full oz of each immediately. Hope this helps. Love, Doc PS. Don't give up hope on Lucky girl yet. These things sometimes take a while ;o) Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.505-772-5889Dr.IanShillington - Suzanne Nottmeier Doc Thursday, September 27, 2001 7:48 PM total tonic, echinacea and DMSO These 3 are used for any plague or germ.... how are they used and in what combination.... in the event of a biogerm warfare from our "terrorist friends" ... how would I use this? Just wanting to be prepared.... Thanks Doc! Well, I am thinking little lucky girl may be blind for life - that maybe this is God's will. Still hoping though, She is getting big and hates for me to leave the pen... still doesn't like the other goats... I figure another month and I'll have a definite answer = that will be 4 months - as long as she had it before I started treating her. good luck in europe = I pray you are safe and come home safely and soon. Guest guest
Cathy, you can do it either way. I usually wait till the last minute, so I have to hurry it along a little. I put my herbs and oil in the top of a double boiler and heat over boiling water till it reaches 120 degrees. Take off the heat and allow to set a while, then reheat to 120 degrees again. I usually do this 3 to 4 times, then strain while it is hot in order to remove the most of the oil from the herbs. (the herbs will feel brittle when they've given up all their essence to the olive oil) If you don't have a thermometer you can set your oven to 150 and put the herbs in a stainless steel pan and leave for 3 or 4 hours stirring every hour or so. You probably already know this, but I'll say it for the benefit of those who don't: Use only stainless steel or glass to work with your herbs. All else will lend its own properties to the herbs and contaminate them. Guest guest
It needs approx. 14 days to absorb the nutrients like any other tincture. Best is to make on the New Moon and press on the Full Moon as the farmers and herbalist of olden times did. You'll get the best results this way. Of course you can wait longer than 14 days and it'll get even better. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU HEAT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Heat changes the biochemical composition of the formula including the oils into a less workable solution. This is why we use cold pressed oils in the first place. Heat will change the fat in the oils into an unabsorbable solution which becomes destructive to the human body. It also opens the door to the introduction of free radicals into the formula, including but not limited to, free radical Hydrogen. DO NOT HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
