Guest guest
Hi all, I'm starting to look at water distillers. Does anyone have any advice on what to look or look out for? Does anyone have one they love or hate? Is 4 hours for a gallon of water something I can live with or should I go with the more expensive ones? Thanks, Ann in Memphis

It has a 6 gallon tank and is hooked up in my basement and comes up to a pump in on the kitchen sink. Is 4 hours for a gallon of water something you can live with? It depends on your needs and how much water you use in a day. You can turn it on at night when you go to bed and it will be done in the morning when you awaken. Or you can go bigger. Guest guest
4 hours for a gallon of water will drive you nuts. Main thing to look for is how easily the units can be disassembled and cleaned. My favorite supplier of water distillers and other treatment equipment, drawn directly from my database listing, is: Warren Clough Ozark Water Service & Laboratory 114 Spring St. Sulpher Springs AR 72768 501-298-3483 800-835-8908 At 01:13 PM 9/23/01 EDT, you wrote: >Hi all, >I'm starting to look at water distillers. Guest guest
you might try searching 'reverse osmosis' (RO). it is a system.. i am told just about the ultimate solution.. to purefying water. i had one installed under the sink for water there and also a line to my ice maker and the water is chrystal clear and probably 99 % pure. it will run a tiny bit acidy but not overly; absolutley within very acceptable range and the taste is pure and clean . it is a 5 phase which includes UV (Ultra violet) which allows for biologically clean water... no bacteria. it is not the cheapest rout, but probably one of the most reliably pure. i really like mine with the chrystal clear ice cubes. i had a local professional install it and it ran a bit higher than some on the net, but i have local service for the annual check ups and didn't have to install it myself. love... granny lee. herbal remedies , ChinLdy@a... wrote: > > I sent this message below yesterday and was wondering if anyone received it > as I have not gotten any e-mails from anyone in regards to water distillers, > not even from Suzi telling me to check the archives.
