Guest guest
When my son was younger he was on a lot of ritalin and we could not put weight on him. So a doctor told me to make up instant breakfast or even diet shakes( we opted for more natural high protein shakes) and give double or three times the intake norms. Instead of a meal sometimes he would just drink two or three glasses of this liquid or drank it with a meal. We always made it with whole milk instead of water or nonfat milk. David is now 15 and healthy as a "horse" ,despite surviving open heart surgery, adhd, numerous doctors telling us he was not going to live from birth. He has been unmedicated for three years, weighs 163 and is 5 foot 11 inches tall. Hope this helps I know that if she can handle what in them these shakes can put on or maintain her weight.
