Whenever i have something to heal, i peirce a vitamin E caspule with a pin and sqeeze the oil onto the area

I suprised my doctor with the quick and thourough repair after having a skin cancer removed, i also applied it to creasote burns i had on my ankles once, they were severely blistered and the vit E worked like magic

Externally and internally w/ heavy doses of vitamin C internally. EFA's and also

acidophilus type supplement (if antibiotics are used), the amino acids

l-glutamine, l-cysteine, and l-lysine, MSM, and a

calcium/magnesium/D/silica/zinc supplement will all help tissue repair. Also

take a potent multi-vitamin. Depending on his situation and requirements,

various herbs may also help (ie. liver cleansing, antibiotics, immunity

boosters, inflammation relief, etc.)

I know this is non-herbal, but I am told acupuncture works wonders for scarring...
