Guest guest
No, I thought that the contents were a little low, but it is 10 ppm @ a tsp./day. Steve ----------------------------- I tend to be a little cautious unless a person is facing a life or death crisis. I don't like to dose to the point that a healing crisis occurs, so I would say follow bottle recomendations, but keep it up for at least a month. I hope you got 500 parts per million on the colloidal silver. Guest guest
I saw the 500ppm price in the HHA catalog, but thought that the cost was rather steep (though perhaps reasonable for the potency), so I went with Futurebiotics as a name brand that I thought was reasonable, but the price (though more affordable) was not any better per ounce than the HHA compound! The problem with trying to skimp due to slowly increasing debt! Steve ----------------------------- No, I thought that the contents were a little low, but it is 10 ppm @ a tsp./day. Guest guest
Well, if you recall last week, all was put pretty much on my doldrums, and said that I needed to work on my stress and outlook, rather than concentrate on a cleansing, so I'm trying to take it one step at a time! Steve ----------------------------- This may work. But many skin irritations are another sign of liver stress, so treating just the skin is only a temporary stopgap measure. Basically what's happening is that the liver is somewhat overloaded, and so the body attempts to expel toxins through the skin. I have often had great success getting rid of skin irritations by treating the liver. What works on the liver are: Vitamin A, Oregon Grape tincture, and Star Anise, among many others. Guest guest
This is like yellowish, stagnant rainwater, looking. Steve ----------------------------- I don't know how to break this to you, but you wasted your money. there are a lot of nay sayers that say 500 ppm is " poison " and will turn your skin grey, etc. etc. etc. I know a couple who were talked into taking colloidal silver (with no strength listed) after one of them had chemo for colin cancer. After a month they could tell no difference. My heart goes out to them, because if they had taken the proper strength he would have definitely noticed a difference in a few days. Some salespeople will tell you that if it isn't clear it is *BAD*. Not so. Mine is brown. People look at it and say " is this supposed to look like that? The last I got was clear " . Yeah!! it's supposed to look like that. And you take 1/2 teaspoon per day. I hate to say this, but I feel like if you took the whole bottle of what you got at one time, you wouldn't get as much benefit as 1/2 teaspoon of 500 ppm. Guest guest
Controversy over colloidal silver has been rampant for several years now. It came out around 1990 or thereabouts, and within a year there were massive disputes among various manufacturers. Some of them went so far as to say they had literally a " magic " process that was essential to making their product the only effective thing on the market. Lost in all of this is any rational, statistical body of data that can tell any of us about the effectiveness of colloidal silver and its variant preparations. On the anecdotal level where i have to live most of the time, i have noticed that this substance works on some people in some circumstances and not others. When it works, this often has happened after nothing else worked. Its effectiveness seems to be connected with knocking out various fungus infestations. Somebody gave me a birthday present of a colloidal silver maker a few years ago. With this, i have control over the product. What i make from distilled water is at least my responsibility, for better or worse. The instructions associated with this device say specifically that when the water is yellowish, silver concentration is too high and particles are too large. Silver in large particle solution has a long history of medicinal use. It is one of the best antibacterial compounds. It is now used primarily to prevent infections on burned tissue. This colloidal silver thing is new, and somewhat untried. It would be best to have more research on it, but in the meantime it does sometimes work and has not generated much in the way of side effects. Its main side effect is called " Argentosis " , and consists mostly of a bluish skin discoloration.
