Guest guest
I just found out some very unfortunate news yesterday. My niece that is expecting is carrying a baby that has anenceph. Not sure if I am spelling this right! The babies brain never developed. She had been on prozac for many, many years. I blame the prozac, she believe the doctors. Anyone on this list can put these two together? Guest guest
Prozac is not known to cause birth defects or mutations. But given its chemical structure, i personally believe that would be possible. The way the FDA Adverse Reaction Reporting System is structured, it would be almost impossible for a report on an incident like this to get through. Usually the permanent damage caused by Prozac and its relatives involves the digestive system. At 10:36 PM 9/12/01 -0400, you wrote: >I just found out some very unfortunate news yesterday.
