Guest guest
Hi, Let me hazard a guess; because it works and it is great? Good thing penicillin isn't just now being discovered; it was a mold! Arthritis set up in my big toe after being broken and every time I flexed it (kneeling down), or a goat stepped on it, I would be in agony for days and have to hop or limp around until the pain and swelling went away. My whole foot would swell up and I couldn't get my work boots on. You might say I lived around this big toe. If my toe had a good day, then I did too. If not, then I didn't either. My long suffering sister told me one night, she would do my chores once again but I would have to take some DMSO orally as her payment. I agreed and before the 20 drops in an empty capsule hit my stomach, I felt the swelling beginning to ease. My whole foot (elevated with an ice pack), was swollen and throbbing to the point where it would have felt better to chop it off. I was able to get my work boot on in the morning, which was a first. This was my procedure from that point on and no longer did I have to rely on my sister to help me because the second I knew my toe was going to act up, I would take the DMSO and PREVENT the pain a and swelling. I no longer have a problem with this toe so guess this would be called a cure. The reason my sister told me to take some DMSO orally is, she had a torn tendon in her arm that was so bad, she could no longer lift a cup of water or use the arm and the muscles were beginning to shrivel up. She went to a doctor who said she needed surgery. She said she wanted a second opinion. The second doctor said he agreed with the first doctor BUT there was one thing she could try. She was to take 20 drops of DMSO in an empty capsule at night, with water, for 20 days. At the end of this time if it worked, she would know it. She did the DMSO treatment, didn't have the surgery and doesn't even remember which arm it was. Gosh, I'd better stock up on this miracle drug before it is rushed off the market! Who would think there could ever be anything left to say about DMSO? However, I found this article a long time ago that I thought was interesting. Apparently nobody else thought it was though, because nobody on the list to which I sent it commented, but here is the link anyway, just in case. What I particularly found fascinating was his experiment with B-12 and other things as well, if you scroll down to the bottom and click on those. He doesn't sell anything, so I liked that. http://krysalis-sparx.com/dmso.htm > Who else on this list (except for Doc Ian who > swears by it ) uses DMSO?................ I use it " sometimes " when I mix it with some lotions or creams to act as a catalyst to absorb through my skin better. I like it a lot. Right now I'm using MSM lotion, so that seems a little silly since MSM and DMSO are pretty much the same thing. But what I'd really like to learn how to do, because apparently some people do this, is to use it instead of alcohol when making tinctures. The idea sort of scares me a little, but I'm very curious. Guest guest
Another terrific story, Jean. I loved this. This doctor that your sister had was really unusual....I can't imagine any of the doctors I ever met thinking that would be a good idea! Very glad about your toe.
