I am a type II diabetic , not a type I....the last

time I fasted was about six months ago for 60 hours

....during which time I do not exercise, nor involve

myself in any type of stressful thinking or labor....I

tested my BSL approximtely every six to eight hours

....

I have kept a diary and the fasting has lasted from 42

hours upto 72 hours. I have never gone pasted 72

hours. I believe I am able to do it because I do

drink alot of water during the fast and I do not

stress out by excerise, work or using my brain in any

way other than listening to music, light reading and

some TV....

I have gone HypoG a few times and ended the fast

immediately but that was in the beginning when I first

started....In no way am I suggesting to anyone that it

is ok to do....Because of my disease I treat my self

as a guinea pig, always looking for a way to end this

nightmare that has been caused by being a diabetic.

all the best
