Guest guest
Dear Holly, Welcome to the list honey... What i am going to tell you may sound too simple. It is how I lost over 30 lbs after a Hystectomey blew me up (and the Premarin they put me on at the time - but that is another story) It would be best if you could do the Colon cleanse that Doc Ian does. That would help a lot. the reason one finds it difficult to continue on a specific diet is becasuse..as you loose weight ...your toxins that are in the cells of your body..start to be flushed from said cells. for some reason ...this sets up a craving for the foods that gave you the toxins in the first place. Any pesticides or medications or herbicides that are stored in your body start to come out and one begins to feel crabby and miserable as these chemicals produce their side effects. So one craves the sugar high from forbidden cakes etc... Most people on ANY diet - do not drink enough water to flush these away. by enough water - I mean PURE water - and about 10 x 8 ounces a day. One is never far from the Restroom if one wishes to really diet (grin). Cut out anything that has a face or comes from a face. cut out anything that has more than three ingredients in it. That means you eat fresh Organic fruit and vegetables ONLY. During any diet, exercise at least half an hour each day. Take several hot and cold showers every day. And, take a good mineral supplement. Whilst you diet with so much water intake - you will be loosing minerals. So make Potassium Broth and drink that every day. ..................Hope this helps.............love Penny Here is the Recipe:- (enough to last a couple of days if you take three cups a day and you can freeze it) Use your largest pot. Glass or stainless steel or ceramic - not aluminum. ALL ORGANIC VEGETABLES SO YOU DON'T IMBIBE ANY MORE PESTICIDES. 25% (by volume) Potato Peelings 25% ( " ) Carrot Peelings and whole chopped beets. 25% (by volume )chopped onions and 50 cloves of garlic (approximately 15 cloves per bulb) 25% by volume celery and dark greens (I use the beetroot tops and other greens in season like Kale or Dandelion, or nasturtium leaf or carrot tops or....you get the idea) ....Oh yes ...you needn't be EXACT on the measurements... Add hot peppers to taste..(put your gloves on when you chop them up) Don't worry about chopping it up too carefully. Put the WHOLE chopped garlic bulbs in - don't bother to skin them, and the whole chopped beetroot. Add enough distilled or purified water to cover the lot and simmer gently for 1 to 2 hours . I prefer 2 hours. Strain and drink. Put the veggies in your compost heap. You can freeze the soup. You can add some water as it is VERY concentrated. Don't add salt - when you taste it you will see why.
Guest guest
Thanks Penny, I'm going to try this. Of course, I am wondering about cutting out things that have a face or come with a face...I heard that Whey protein from goat's milk is a good source of minerals, potassium and protein, of course. Is this wrong? I found this stuff at the Dr. Christopher's Herb Shop, but haven't bought any yet (due to lack of money)... How long did it take you to lose those 30 pounds? Thanks, Holly --- Penny Khaled <pennyclr75 wrote: > Dear Holly, > Welcome to the list honey... > What i am going to tell you may sound too simple. > It is how I lost over 30 lbs after a Hystectomey > blew me up (and the > Premarin they put me on at the time - but that is > another story) > It would be best if you could do the Colon cleanse > that Doc Ian does. > That would help a lot. > the reason one finds it difficult to continue on > a specific diet is > becasuse..as you loose weight ...your toxins that > are in the cells of > your body..start to be flushed from said cells. > for some reason ...this sets up a craving for > the foods that gave > you the toxins in the first place. > Any pesticides or medications or herbicides that > are stored in your > body start to come out and one begins to feel crabby > and miserable as > these chemicals produce their side effects. > So one craves the sugar high from forbidden > cakes etc... > Most people on ANY diet - do not drink enough > water to flush these > away. > by enough water - I mean PURE water - and about > 10 x 8 ounces a day. > > One is never far from the Restroom if one wishes > to really diet > (grin). > Cut out anything that has a face or comes from a > face. > cut out anything that has more than three > ingredients in it. > That means you eat fresh Organic fruit and > vegetables ONLY. > During any diet, exercise at least half an hour > each day. > Take several hot and cold showers every day. > And, take a good mineral supplement.
