Guest guest
I help people all of the time (whether they follow my advice is a different story) for free, here (I hope), at work, giving talks at my mom's weight loss group, etc., but i have to make a living somehow, and it might as well be something that puts me in the minority as having a job that I actually enjoy, and get rewards from besides the one that you get when you turn 68 or older! It isn't a bad thing to charge people for help, and that is what I had to overcome. I cannot tell you how often I come across this especially with aromatherapy and herbalists. I have that feeling too!!! Mindy Kittay
Guest guest
OH OH OH that just is *wrong*. (my humble opinion only of course) I come from a family of book lovers. Books were soooo precious on the frontier (I still have some that my Great Great Grandmother brought west from Illinois). I can't throw away a book. I go through mine every 10 years or so and give away or sell the ones that aren't pertenint to my life at the time (not many), but then I go find another bookshelf that I can stack on top of something as I'm out of floor space. You want to help people. . .as you breathwalk and chant sa ta na ma, project an image of yourself as a counselor. So you didn't make it in your projected time. .. .forgive youself for that and walk on!! Another thing I have trouble with is accepting money or actually *charging* for helping people. (and my folks say to throw away everything after you readit - I can't keep everything filed in my noggin', I have to keep references around), and the rest follows suit,
