For instance 1 cup chopped onion, 1 cup grated ginger root etc. etc. etc. To this you just add 1 cup powdered turmeric. Or a *part can be as much or as little as you want it to be. (1 teaspoon chopped onion, 1 teaspoon powdered turmeric. . .)
