Janice, here are the proportions for the essiac. I have known of people that

take 1 or 2 oz daily as a

maintenance dose, but personally if I take it over 2 weeks at a time I have to

add an herbal laxative, as long

term usage causes constipation in some people and I'm one of them.

essiac tea:

20 parts cut burdock root

16 parts powdered sheep sorrel

4 parts powdered slippery elm bark

1 part powdered turkey rhubarb (rheum palmatum)

1 cup makes 2 gallons of tea

Janice,

I only use essiac on illnesses, not as a boost to the immune system, echineachea is a good one for that - Essiac was designed originally for cancer, but cures a multitude of things.
