Guest guest
I am feeling lots better and want to thank you all for the help. As it turns out it is not my gall bladder ( Thank God )! I had some kind of an intestinal virus. I went to a gastro doctor and he was very honest with me. He said that I did not fit the profile. Here is what he said they go y ( sounds very elementary to me ). They go by the 4 F's. F= Forty ( I am 50ish ) F= Fertile ( I am in the menopause) F= Female ( Thank God I fit that one ) F= Fat ( I am almost always trying to keep my weight up) So, what do you all think of that formula LOL ! He also examined me and took a simple test. I am feeling much better and since then have heard of 3 others that have ended up in ER because of the intense pain associated with this infection. Love to all !! Pearl (NY) Country Living at it's finest /community/Countrylife
Guest guest
Don't know about that formula Pearl. VBG When I had my problems with gall bladder I was in my 50's, in menopause, female, and a few pounds over. Wound up in emergency by ambulance 3 times because of the pain and each time " they " thought it was my heart and gave me nitroglycerine but by the time I got to the hospital I was fine. Finally I was seeing a doctor for something else and he recommended a sonogram. There was 1 stone the size of my doctor's thumb and it would stop up the opening to the stomach and then my gall bladder would blow up like a balloon. I even told them that's what it felt like but it was the 4th doctor that diagnosed it. I'm glad you are feeling much better.
