Guest guest
I think comfrey was mentioned since it is known as " knitbone " , as a possible start. Steve7 ----------------------------- OK gang....my daughter in law got thrown from a horse and broke the back part of her jaw... They can't wire it because of where it is... She is on liquids for 6 weeks... also chipped a tooth but that will have to wait too. till the jaw heals. I've given her clove oil for the pain. My question is what can I get for her that will speed the healing of the bone? I know it's been discussed somewhere but can't find it.... Thanks. Guest guest
Lemon egg may help, but the calcium in hydroxyapatite form is the same crystaline structure found in bone matrix; magnesium (to absorb and retain calcium), vitamin K, glucosamine sulfate, boron, silica/horsetail, high dose vitamin C, turmeric or mullein or bromelain for swelling, and avoid calcium leechers (sodas, coffee, etc.). In Health, Steve ----------------------------- Comfrey was known in the olde times as " knit bone " . You can make a salve or a compress of it and apply several times a day to jaw. Guest guest
Make a poultice with Comfrey. It is also called 'bone knit' for just that reason. It helps to knit the bones back. I have a HUGE plant out the front door... I also will pray for her about the pain. YIKES, my sis broke her jaw once, her daughter bounced up in her lap when she was about 2 yo and popped it good. Guest guest
There is an herb called " boneset " which is supposed to be good, but i've never tried it. I have tried Passion Flower, and had good results with it. My music research indicates that music played in Phrygian mode can help bone healing. This is very hard to find. I'm reluctant to say more about it on the list because apparently nobody else has ever tried it, and there are some important precautions. Any further information on Phrygian mode will have to be privately passed on. Best thing for speeding up bone healing is pulsed low-voltage electricity. There used to be a kind of underground network where you could obtain these machines for " experimental " use. My dream is that someday these things, which are very easy and cheap to make, will be widely available and installed in almost every doctor's office.
