DAY LILY ZUCCHINI

 

1/2 c. buds and blossoms of

day Lilies

1 1/2 to 2 lb. zucchini

3 Tbsp. butter

salt and pepper to taste

 

Wash and towel dry Lilies and zucchini. Remove

stem

ends and slice zucchini. Melt butter in skillet. Add

Lilies

and zucchini and cook gently until tender (about 8 to

10

minutes). Do not overcook. The zucchini should not

be mushy.

Day Lily zucchini makes a tasty, attractive change

from

ho-hum vegetables.
