Do some Googling, find a video. Yoga is unequaled for its ability to gently and without strain align and regenerate the body. There is video called "Yoga for the rest of us". It starts seated. Sorry, I don't know the name of the teacher. And here is a website: www.spine.org/articles/exercises.cfm also my right leg seems to bother me and my doctor has said it is because of the sciatic nerve- is there anything I can do (site wise, or otherwise) to relieve this pain, Reflexology! Great way to affect an injured part of the body without having to touch it. If you have someone who can help you, so much the better. Otherwise, work your hands. The spine reflex on the hands works great. If you can, visit a Reflexologist and ask her to show you how to work on yourself between sessions. The best website on this topic is: http://www.reflexology-research.com/ or at least strengthen the abdomen muscles so that the spine is in better working condition without doing any harm, or is there an alternative to healing this area that I am not aware of? I am 50 as of now- and female- Also, try Emotional Freedom Technique. My latest passion, try it on ANYTHING! Free, harmless, and profoundly empowering. http://emofree.com Good luck, keep us posted!
