Guest guest
In response to Marty's message re: bladder infections. Bladder infections are common among women. If you are one of the "unlucky" ones who have a recurring problem you really need to work toward prevention. I know - I share the same tendency. As you know, antibiotics can lead to yeast infections and bladder infections. If your doctor prescribes an antibiotic you might want to also take a few precautions against bladder infections. If you can tolerate buttermillk, drink about 4 oz. at least once a daily. More often if you can. Also, drink lots of cranberry juice. It works really fast - usually clears me right up in a day or less if I drink lots of it. If you can't tolerate the taste of the juice, you can buy capsules at most grocery and health food stores. Beware - if you have a problem with high blood sugar, go for the cranberry pills because the juice is high in sugar. Apple cider vinegar pills also work and are readily available. Do you have diabetes? If so, you are a target for these infections because you are so sweet. In fact, frequent bladder infections may be a warning for a bigger problem. You might need to discuss this with your doctor - he can easily and inexpensively test your blood to see if you have a high sugar level. In many communities, local hospital have screening problems for free. So be prepared! At the first sign of a problem start taking your juice or pills. I keep the juice and the pills at the ready, for it is easier to treat the infection if you get a handle on it straight away. About the colloidal silver. It is a staple in my medicine chest. We start taking it at the sign of any infection - be it a cold. sore throat, bladder infection, etc. Recently my husband had a persistent ear infection. Antibiotics did help - but as soon as he stopped the antibiotic it returned. Guess what worked???? Colloidal silver! If you don't have a reliable source, email me and I will share my source with you. Be careful where you buy your supplements! Cynthia Duncan email: flowerchild_71901
