Can anyone recommend something that would help nourish and repair

ligaments and tendons? I've had weak ligaments all my life and recent

injuries at the gym have given me tendonitis.

 

I had joined a gym with a fitness program that I'd hoped would help me

work out despite my limitations and, unfortunately, they left me worse

off than I was before I started.

 

Not only did I wind up with serious " tennis elbow " but they had me on

a no salt diet that screwed up my electrolyte balance and caused

massive muscle spasms! As you can imagine, I'm warning folks to stay

away from that place.

Nutritionally, make sure you have vitamins ACE and omega 3 oils (reduce

inflammation), get enough calcium and magnesium to help heal muscles

and connective tissue.

 

You can also try some homeopathic remedies, such as Rhus tox,

Phytolacca or Byronia. If it is an acute problem you could use Arnica.

 

Rhus - worse in the morning, better for movement

Phytolacca - pain at where the tendon connects, worse for heat

Byronia - worse with slightest motion, being jarred, or cold and better

for heat
