Radio Caroline celebrates their 41st anniversary with live broadcasts

Radio Caroline was the original pirate radio station operating

outside the UK terretorial limit - raided and closed down by the

government in the 60's. Radio Caroline created a model

for " people's " , radio leading to a whole revolution in public

broadcasting in the UK - instigating the creation of

" RADIO ONE " by the BBC to attempt to meet the public's demand for

better broadcasting.
