Guest guest
HI Busboy....I go to a chiro who practices the " Grostic Procedure " .....he only " adjusts " the upper cervical vertebrae and when I say adjust, I don't mean " pop and snap " ....I start off laying on my back on a low table and he checks my ankles first, then I go to a table that is upright as I stand on it and is gently lowered to horizontal...he does almost what is like a brief light massage up and down my spine and then I go back to the back table, on my side and he uses his thumb or an activator and barely bumps a neck vertebrae or two...when I first started visiting him, I was really messed up and had to go a couple of times a week, but now hold an " adjustment " for about a couple of months, unless I do something dumb, like lifting with my back and not my knees, etc......here is a website that might give you some insight....but this sounds like where you went......Karen http://www.aucco.org/grostic.html At 06:42 PM 3/22/2005, you wrote: Before we moved away, my wife and I went to this wonderful man who technically was a chiropractor, but did not do the pop and bone crushing method. He hardly touched our back at all, but would know exactly where our problems were based on the alignment of our ankles, etc. It was really a fascinating method of healing, and did not require multiple visits like a typical chiropractor. I feel silly, because I don't recall the type of healing/practice this was. Does this sound familiar to anyone? If so, does anyone know of people who practice this in Utah?
