Guest guest
Does anyone know a way to detox a person with toluene poisoning? My friend was in a building that had tile put into it and some part of the process involved a material with toluene as a solvent. She became very ill and contiues to be ill to this day, which is about 4 years later. She is sensistive and intolerant to all petrochemicals and other chemicals such as perfumes. This causes neurological problems of extreme fatigue, loss of balance, short term memory. Thanks for your help. Guest guest
There are many herbs, foods, teas, fasting programs, and accupuncture treatments, baths, etc that all promote detoxification. Your friend may need a combination of several different types. Find a good local holisitic practitioner, and ask around about his or her reputation. You can usually get a recommendation from a vitamin store manager/owner or a homeopathic pharmacy technician. A good healthy diet of fruits and vegetables will go a long way. Good Luck. Guest guest
That is awful! I had an acquaintance on an ADD list who suffered with that. Messed him up big time. The most important thing is to support the liver and to provide a clear exit for any toxins coming out. You need to clean the colon and support the lymphatic drainage system as well. And you need to provide the body with easily assimilable super-foods that help to balance the body. Chlorella, Spirulina and AFA are all powerful allies here. Of course I am partial to AFA, grin. There are many good whole-health programs out there. The one I work with myself uses whole wild herb-foods, mainly from the Amazon Rainforest. Ask me off list. ienvan Also an option: detox footpads based on wood vinegar. They are neat. I used ShuLi for a while, but according to the person who turned me on to them there is a cheaper version that is just as good. Here it is.
