Guest guest
I have RA. I am not all twisted up yet but my life is extremely proscribed due to the pain and fatigue associated with this disease. I have probably read millions of words from hundreds of sources about a huge variety of alternative medicine disciplines in the last twenty years but sadly my scholarship leads me to believe that autoimmune diseases are beyond the scope of anything I know about. Allopathic treatments for this horrible disease are all toxic in the extreme and despite the suspension of symptoms available for varying lengths of time eventually cause more trouble for my system than they ameliorate. They all weaken my system to such a degree that I am vulnerable to secondary infections, candida and all kinds of things that only decrease my quality of life. I would appreciate any practical advice.
Guest guest
I'd recommend a Blood Type Diet. See books by Peter D'Adamo and check out www.dadamo.com. Guest guest
Try malic acid and magnesium. It gets oxygen to the deep muscles and joints. If you don't like pills, you can get tart cherry juice which is known to reduce pain and inflammation. You can find out more about it by doing a google search. I get mine from Leland's in Michigan. It is expensive but this is a contrated form. I have fibromyalgia - a close relative and it works for me. mary For the Lord God helps Me; therefore have I not been ashamed or confounded. Therefore have I set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame. Isa 50:
Guest guest
14.4.05 i apologise for the very late answer. it has escaped my attention. in my mudra folder in the files section you will find a joints pain mudra which has been used successfully for this. these are hand postures and it is based on correcting the imbalance of 5 elements which constitute the body. no medication. make take up to 1 month to clear. there is an article on its scientific way of working. i had seen some memos on nasal congestion also. the Linga mudra could clear it away within a week, if not earlier, if done 5 mts thrice a day. try & share. with light & love d.k.kothari DK_Holistic_Healing/ - " melodious1743 " <melodious1743 Wednesday, March 02, 2005 8:38 PM rheumatoid arthritis > > > > I have RA. Guest guest
Originally, RA was believed to be caused by bacteria or a virus. When prednisone came long, it was considered a cure...that is until the horrible side effects were seen. It was at this time that the majority of physicians chose the track that the body becomes psychotic and destroys itself and therefore the best mode of treatment is to wipe out the immune system! Fortunately, some physicians continued to believe that some bacterial or viral agent triggered the immune system...not nuts after all. Chlamydia and mycoplasmas are two that have been implicated. There are physicians who treat people without destroying their immune system but by building it up. Guest guest
An acupuncturist I went to years ago told me that lupus and other auto-immune diseases start in the gut. I was kind of surprised when he said that and asked him to explain. Unfortunately he was Chinese and had not gotten very far down the road of English being his second language so I really didn't understand him. However, the " seed of thought " had been planted. I recently discovered I was wheat/gluten intolerant. Upon lots of research (a lot I found on www.scdiet.org) I discovered that there may well be a connection between the gut/digestion (or lack thereof) and a lot of autoimmune diseases like RA. Take a look, I have no financial interest in any of it. I just found that after eliminating wheat and glutens from my diet that my joint pains/swellings are decreasing, digestion problems are receding, and other lupus-type symptoms are fading. I'm not looking at this as a cure ... I'm not sure there is one - but it seems to be the closest I've encountered in 19 years of researching.
