Hi everyone,

I haven't posted in some time, and never really got round to saying

thanks for all the helpful replied to my previous post. I hope you

can overlook what a bad list-member I am and maybe help with this one.

Have any of you ever taken Saint John's Wort? If so, what are your

thoughts on it? I've been taking the tincture for a couple of weeks

now, and have stopped temporarily because, although I wasn't feeling

so sad, I was feeling really, really tired.

I suppose some of it is still in my system, though, and I've been

examining when the tiredness really hits. Its straight after I've

had a cup of tea or coffee (ftr, I know caffeine is bad bad BAD but I

LIKE tea and coffee, having been caffeine-free for a few years). I'm

wondering - can this herb react with caffeine? I've not heard of it

doing so, but then I probably didn't look into this as much as I

could have done before taking it (yes, yes, I know. I'll slap my own

wrist :)). The periods of feeling really terrible do seem to

correspond to having consumed tea or coffee - not the usual " caffeine

slump " an hour or so later, but as I'm actually drinking it.

This isn't a reaction I've had to caffeine in the past. I stopped

drinking it because it made me anxious.

Anyway, I'd be grateful for your thoughts.

Ian
