Guest guest
I've got a major Problem. I'm a NIGHT OWL aka- Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder. I've tried everything under the sun for my SEVERE INSOMNIA, but nothing seems to work. I've tried anti-psychotics, anti-seizure, blood pressure, anti-anxiety, mood stabilizer, and allergy meciations but it DOESN'T WORK! The only thing that I haven't tried is VALIUM, which my regular doc was going to prescribe but she went into false labor and is out until late MARCH or early APRIL. Bummer huh?! I'm just not tired when I go to bed. I need something to knock me out so that I can sleep during the night and wake up by 6:45 in time for school. I started going to a sleep clinic at the UW in SEATTLE, but they're not very helpful. They tell me to stay up at night until I'm tired and then go to sleep.. But the problems is that I have school the next day and I can't be sleeping through the classes. Does anyone have any advice for me? I'd really appriciate you'r help! Much Love and Respect! PS- The fill in doc for my regular doc said that he was thinking about putting me on REMERON, because it helps people with sleep as well as depressive disorders. Is anyone here taking REMERON? If so, would it help for sleep? Heather Lieber 206-736-6244 PLASHTEN (NEW EMAIL ADDRESS)
