Guest guest
Rain, We have had excellent results using Prickly Pear Cactus Fuit. We have both the juice and the fruit leather as well as fruit spreads. All are effective. This product is becoming known world wide. It is also beneficial for high blood pressure and cholesterol. We also recommend Maitake mushroom, Dandelion Root, Ginseng, Fumitory and Cosahuic. Of course, as I am sure that you are well aware of. diet and exercise play a cruicial role in the maintainence of diabetes. Good luck in finding something that works for you. Feel free to contact us if we can be of any help. Could anyone help me with alternative methods for lowering blood sugar and controlling diabetes. I am on meds right now...and am scheduled to see a specialist at the end of this month because they are so out of control. I have been diabetic for 9 years. Also anything to help with weight loss...to assist conventional methods....that always seems to get my bg's under control. But the cravings are crazy. Thank you in advance for any and all advice and help. Blessings Rain
Guest guest
Using the green, unadulterated stevia herb has been a well-known traditional medicine for diabetes. The synthesized white powder does not have the medicinal effect - it is great as a sweetner and has some health benefits, not limited to replacing sugar. However, it requires the whole herb, the green/brown powder form to address diabetes. There have been studies of the traditional herb for this purpose done in South and Central America where it natively grows, and it does have measurable effect. If you choose to work with it, do a search on diabetis and stevia for research and dosing information. It is important to let your physician know you are doing this, as likely your meds will need to be adjusted - lowered - while using this herb.
