Guest guest
My 19 year old son has suddenly started having episodes of heart irregularities. For the last two or three days, he's had several a day. He's never had them before. Sometimes it's a very rapid regular beat. Sometimes it's slow and irregular. Sometimes it's a pounding. It usually lasts a few seconds, but once it lasted for a minute. His doctor caught it with his stethoscope, but couldn't tell what it was. He had an EKG, during which it didn't happen, but he hasn't gotten the results yet. Does anybody have any ideas about what could be causing it? He has been living on his own for the last three and a half months and doesn't like to cook, so he probably has dietary imbalances. Thanks for the help.
