have you seen the article and mudras loaded by me in the files section under mudra folder. these are hand postures working on the principle of correcting the imbalances in the 5 elements of which the body is made off.

there is one mudra for waste and toxin removal which should be helpful. this has also been used as helping in labour and smooth delivery. this is not loaded till now. if you feel interested, i can upload it.

Pregnancy heartburn- help!

Hi there. I am in my 3rd trimester- 8 weeks to go with baby #2 and a homebirth. We live a fairly holistic lifestyle, try to eat well, food combine most of the time and I don't drink with meals. I use homeopathy, herbs, grind my own flour for bread, grow wheatgrass etc. - not to say i don't eat out once in awhile or select inappropriate things to eat- but i usually can see why i want them in terms of deficiencies etc. So I do the best I can. I struggle with drinking 2 quarts of water/herbal infusions/almond milks etc. a day but again most of the time I stay on track.I do work with a homeopath as well as an ND and so far we can't figure out this heartburn (nor could we the nasty naseau in my first trimester). My first pregnancy I did not have the naseau but did have the nasty heartburn near the end, but I don't recall it being this bad. I am overdue for a chiropractic adjustment so maybe some of it is structural- i did have a massage the other day and she said I had chakras or something were blocked- it did feel improved when i was done. I didnt' think i had alot of emotional baggage at the moment...hmmmmmAnyhow, this REALLY REALLY bad heartburn that's been going on around 3 weeks now, maybe longer - seems like forever and there isn't any end in sight- it can be worse lying down but being vertical is almost as bad. It is not picky about types food or beverages or time of day. Anything that goes in- even all the healthy stuff... causes nasty heartburn. Borderline reflux on several occassions. It can be as bad in the morning and throughout the day as it is at night- it is about an hour after I eat or drink. I am a small person and I think I have stayed fairly healthy in terms of weight gain and had a truly fabulous 2nd trimester with tonnes of energy, wonderful frame of mind etc. I am just now 'feeling' pregnant as baby is running out of room and hey...it's harder to tie my shoes up! LOLEssentially most of the postive emotional stuff is all still there...except the heartburn is truly interfering with nutritional intake- especially raw stuff! my love of oranges, apples, and other raw fruits and vegetables makes me fearful at the thought of eating them. I would truly like to find some relief if anyone has any ideas other than what I have tried!!!I have tried the following over the last 3 weeks with limited or no success....and although I don't expect it to disappear completely, dialing it back to a dull roar, rather then round the clock 'Pete the dragon' would be truly beneficial nutritionally for me as I am getting frustrated and PO'd!!!!!papaya enzymesslippery elm logenzesdandelion tincturemint/chamomile/raspberry/nettle teas/infusionschewing fennel seedsnat phos 200c (homeopath recommended)nat phos 6xnux, bryonia, phosporus 30cmilk/yogurt (although i do not generally consume dairy)almonds - eatingalmonds - homemade milkwater - drowning the heartburnand probably others i can't think of right now!any help would be greatly appreciatedThanks for listeningWendyOntario, Canada
