Please, please. Take a look at nature's best

brainfood.

aquazon

One of my favorite times as an "algaevangelist"

was the young mother whose postpartum depression

lifted after 3 days on quality AFA.

She had been down in the dumps for 3 years.

She said it literally felt as if a wind had blown

open her heart.

This is a gift from the living Earth, from the dawn of creation.

All life on Earth started with blue-green algae.

Many people experience a profound sense of re-connecting

with the Source when using this food.

There is so much more to nourishing the body-mind

than the right amount of vitamins, minerals etc.

I don't know if this is new or not, but one of my friends

was bipolar and was subject to depression with periodic swings up

into a mania state. In the winter he would get to a near suicidal

state. We traced a major contribution to this down to food

allergies, namely to caffein, chocolate, and ice cream (dairy in

general?). When he went off them his depression let up considerably

as did the mania states. I suspect a wheat intolerance also though

he hasn't checked for it. Fixing the diet was the number one thing

that got him out of the major funk, then some Flower Essences helped

remove much of the rest. Bach Mustard FE worked good for him when a

funk was coming and 21 days of another one cured him. He's been

very good for two months or so and been improving steadily since

last fall.

While researching this, others reported strong results from

nutritional approaches. Food allergies, especially gluten

intolerance, mess up a person's ability to assimulate nutrients.

Start missing macro and micronutrients and the brain starts having a

hard time functioning. Thus comes the therapy of changing to a

better diet, eliminating allergins, cleaning out the bowels (get rid

of the layers of mucoid crud that interfere with absorption the

Master Cleanse is great for that but my friend didn't do that one),

parasite cleanse. Once things are clean then the body can absorb

nutrients better which can greatly be helped if the person stays

away from processed foods and eats healthy nutritious foods. That's

a whole field of study, how to cook tasty and nutritously. My

friend did very well going through this stuff and feels SO much

better and is able to think clearly again. It took him about 3

years to figure this stuff out and change his diet, quit the Ben &

jerry's, discover the flower essences, do research, etc.

Swami Sita of the Sivanada ashram in CA says, " When you

start feeling bad and that the goverment is evil and the world is

coming to end, the problem is not the goverment is bad, it's that

you ate that piece of chocolate cake the night before. "

Another therapy tried was Hulda Clark's parasite zappers.

Don't know if that actually did much as he was doing a parasite

cleanse at the same time but it sure was fun to bring my zapper over

and let him hook himself up with it especially when other friends

were there. " Dude, check this out, we're going to nuke the brain

parasites. " The theory is weird parasites can leave your guts and

get into different organs in your body and cause different symptons,

including psychological ones. Don't know if he had brain parasites

but he did pass parasites in his stools on day 4 of his cleanse. He

reported feeling much better afterwards with energy to do things

again.

Don't know what one thing helped him most, I think the

flower essences were the icing on a cake that he made from a lot of

groundwork of lifestyle changes ranging from his diet (standard

american processed filth to wholesome foods) to doing yoga. So fix

the diet (if he can, record what he eats for a month and also how he

feels every day and see if there are any correlations), do a

parasite cleanse, then a master cleanse, and keep some Bach Mustard

Flower Essence around for when the Black mood hits. Gentle tonic

nervines are good if he'll drink tea, but WATCH OUT on st John's

wort, it worked very good for my friend but I've heard if you're on

antidepressents things can get messed up if you take it too. Oh, he

did a liver flush and passed a bunch of gallstones in there too at

some point. His gallbladder had been so clogged up he had the

classic gallbladder pain in his upper right side. Afterward the

flush, no pain and he felt much better. That was near the end of

his mood swings.

Phew, I think that's most of what he did. Cleaned out his

body and rebuilt it with good foods. Used St.John'sWort and yoga to

survive the winter along with some other nervine teas (lemon balm),

found Mustard Flower Essences worked awesome (don't know what the

other one was), nuked the parasites, did a liver/gallbladder flush.

Stays away from what he's allergic to.

See if any of that helps. It's not fun to watch a friend

morph before your eyes into a depressed zombie or a hyperactive

tunnel visioned fiend.

I met a guy that had some kind of insomia and total depression, where he was unable to function, lost his job etc. and drinking St. John's Wort tea with honey helped him. I told him that manic depressives take lithium to help with the brain chemistry, but that it was not the correct mineral, he should eat seaweed. I told him about a park that has lithium water you can bottle and drink, but that just drinking plain water you will get the same results because it is a cyclical problem and he should moderate that cycle with continual mineral supplements like potassium and calcium, and avoid acidic things like caffinated sodas which deplete those. I told him to get outside in the morning sunshine and take 10 deep breaths everyday and that would help with his testosterone level and his pineal gland which produces melatonin, so he asked the people at the health food store and they told him that would cause skin cancer and to take melatonin pills. He showed a

bigger change listening to them than to me. He would ask me advice on all kinds of things and then get a second oppinion and go with it, rather than my suggestions.

His mania was so outragious he gambled his entire paycheck and savings - he had brought me along as a guest, which the casino gave us both free chips for part of the package plan of a round trip bus fare. I tried to get him to budget out the amount needed to pay his bills and then only gamble what he could afford, but he said that my negative thinking made him lose money. He blames other people for his unbalanced reality.

It is scary how out of balance a person can become. As

friends/family we can't force them to make changes. Unfortunately,

about all we can do is provide a supportive enviroment for the

person to grow into those changes him or herself. We were lucky, my

friend when he was clear headed saw something was wrong and wanted

to make changes. He responded relatively quickly to the change in

diet and herbs and such. It isn't always that easy.

Hi Friends!

I have found that very often the brain's imbalance is caused by digestive system imbalance.

Balance the flora & heal the gut and you may just balance the brain pathways as well.

much love & healing
