Guest guest
Deodorant's Can someone let me know which natural deodorant's are the best? I'd like one without too many chemicals or one totally chemical free. I have seen some deodorant's that are aluminium free. Can someone tell me why aluminium is particularly bad? Guest guest
Dear Najma, Four years ago, I had a suspicious lump in my left breast. I had always used a stick antiperspirant with aluminum chlorhydrate. I believe it may block the necessary sweat glands especially on the left side. I used a paste of baking soda for 3 months under my arms as a deodorant. And abstained from Coffee Mate (hydrolized milk.) I believe it to cause problems in the milk glands in women. I nursed both my children for up to 5 years total. After not using deodorant, and drinking lots of water, my lump went away. I believe that some people have used a crystal which you rub under your arms as a natural deodorant. I do not know if it is a salt, or something else. I have had no more lumps in the breast. God bless Athena
Guest guest
Najma- I buy whatever's on sale at sunharvest/wild oat. The main thing is that you want a deodorant- not an antiperspirant. It's just not " natural " to prevent your body from sweating! This is the more expensive option. You can make your own too. For me personally, it took about a month for my body to make the switch. Then I found I needed deordorant less and less. It's like antiperspirant makes your sweat stink more, when it does get through! Aluminum has been loosely linked to alzheimer's and well, it's aluminum! Guest guest
Have you ever tried a Thai Stone. About $8.95, they last for a year and have no chemicals.
