Guest guest
Dear Andrew, Would you happen to know if this information would apply to the situation in which someone says they bruise easily, very, very easily....always having black and blue marks, etc. I'm asking because I'm working on my first case study in course (naturopathy) and have interviewed the person and need to do the research now. This person has spider veins and complained of bruising very easily. TIA, Suzan New and Improved Mail - Send 10MB messages!
Guest guest
Suzan, someone who bruises easily it could be a spleen condition. As my mother had to have her spleen removed do to bruising. The spleen would trap her platelets witch in turn caused the bruising. If the platelets get to low it can be very dangerous. If the person fell or hit their head they could bleed to death. as the platelets clot the blood. I have gotten so much good information from this group.and I am so thankful for all of your input. I felt I had something to add this time. This is just a thought. love and light Cathy*** ---- 07/23/04 21:26:08 Re: Broken Capillaries Dear Andrew,Would you happen to know if this informationwould apply to the situation in which someonesays they bruise easily, very, veryeasily....always having black and blue marks, etc.I'm asking because I'm working on my first casestudy in course (naturopathy) and haveinterviewed the person and need to do theresearch now. Guest guest
Cathy, I just research bruising and relation to spleen and it doesn't seem to fit. She doesn't have the other symptoms (bleeding easily). It seems to be related to leukemia, lymph node disorders or cirrhosis.....and she has none of these other issues. Basically, with no other symptoms my research shows that there's no cause for concern. Thank you anyway for sharing, Suzan -- Cathy Trupiano <ctstar7 wrote: > Suzan, > someone who bruises easily it could be a spleen > condition. Guest guest
Doesn't a lack of enough Vitamin C also make people bruise very easily? I used to have that problem but now I can't seem to remember exactly what I did for it. Guest guest
A friend at work has had some success with this spider vein recipe. One ounce base oil (I like apricot kernel) with 18 drops of palmarosa. Make sure to tell her not to massage it but to rub gently on the area. I have used cypress and lemon in a base of St John's wort for varicose veins, but have not work on broken capillaries. Guest guest
Hi Jeanine, Rose Otto (Rosa damascena) is the first essential oil that comes to my mind. Herbally, I'd try a compress wash made with a decoction of White Oak Bark (Quercus alba) and Witch Hazel Bark (Hamamelis virginiana) ... starting with a warm compress and then using a cool compress ... *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com David and Jeanine Moss [dhm.jac] Hi, A friend is concerned at the appearance of broken veins on her face.
