Guest guest
Before a camping trip, I'll dose up on Brewers Yeast and Garlic and will be the only one on the trip that doesn't get a single bite! Guess they don't like the way I smell and taste! Michelle , " Moon Wolfe " <MoonWolfesm@m...> wrote: > I am relatively new to your group and live in the Arizona area. I have read some reports that the mosquitoes are attracted to your breath, and will travel up to miles to bite someone. This will last me quite awhile here. Combinations of Lavender and Red Thyme Essential oils seem to work best. For insect repellent I have used the following: Lemongrass 8 drops, peppermint 4 drops, and thyme 4 drops, lavender 4 drops EO diluted with a base oil. as an insect repellent. Using strips of paper or ribbons hung from the porch with one drop of EO is great deterrent. Remember to protect yourself other ways by wearing socks and long sleeves in you are susceptible to bites. > Blessings > Brenda > > > > > - > Ien Van Houten<ienvan@c...> > Undisclosed-Recipient:;<Undisclosed-Recipient:;> > Saturday, July 03, 2004 5:21 PM > mosquito remedy > > > I have not tried this out, but it looks harmless enough to be worth a try. > Now that we have West Nile virus to worry about, we need to be a bit > more mosquito-conscious! > > Please do not panic about West Nile. > Just take measures to keep your immune system > in decent shape. > Go easy on the ice cream, pop, and beer. > Keep your body in decent shape by good food and > moderate exercise. > Use quality supplements, ideally whole food based. > > A friend sent me this: > > <This was given at a gardening forum.
