Correct, we act with hostility against the " other. " Within our

groups, we practice tolerance (to a point) and are more forgiving.

 

We also tend to attack that which we believe we can defeat and submit

to that which we believe can defeat/destroy/hurt us.

 

Do you mind if I share your post with my group, Digna-Petamus? I'd

like to share it because we've been discussing conflict there

recently --- both in the abstract term and in terms of actual (albeit

minor) on-list conflict.
