Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I'm new to the group and am interested in starting some aromatherapy to help with some insomnia problems brought on by my fibromyalgia. I'm curious if there are any known complications aromatherapy can cause with diabetes. I'd really appreciate any other information too! Thanks so much! Thanks so much!Nicole Nicole, I use Lavendar oil, candles and Bath & Body works have a lotion and spray mist and it helps calm our bodies. I also grow it so I will be able to make my own products soon for my house. This may help you out tremendously. I buy Lavendar Yankee candle since they don't have a lead wick. They also have bath salts that are lavendar and I have a hot tub that helps me out tremendously. Hope you get to feeling better Nicole, I will also keep you in prayer. Guest guest
Hi Nicole, Good luck with the aromatherapy! I am just learning to play with it, so I don't have much in the way of advice to offer. All I am doing is massaging people's feet with some e.o. in mixing oil at the end of a Reflexology treatment. But I do know this, from friends who are really into it: the oil MUST be therapeutic grade, not perfume grade. In other words, the potent essence of a healing plant is a lot more than a pretty smell. Sometimes a synthetic pretend oil will actually smell better to an uneducated nose! I do believe we have some people on the board who have worked with therapeutic grade oils, and can help you further. If no one pipes up, I have a friend who is an expert in them, and who would be glad to educate you. (my thing is herbs. ask me for a sample) Ien in the Kootenays, Sinixt Territory**********************************"It is never too late to be what you mighthave been."~George Eliothttp://businesshelpingpeople.comSaving the Rainforest, one cup of tea at the time!**********************************

Guest guest
I would suggest lavendar oil. Use a good quality grade oil You can put some on your temples and chest before going to bed. You can also add some drops to water and put in a spray bottle..then spray your linens, pillow and room. Guest guest
Nicole, Other people can help you with the aromatherapy. But I would love you to meet a friend of mine who has improved long-standing type 1 diabetes with a natural foods program. He was diagnosed at age 2!! And has improved so much lately that his diabetes case manager said he doesn't really need her anymore. I will be perfectly honest with you: this is part of my business. But, it won't hurt to chat with someone, will it? No pressure, no obligation, iron-clad money- back guarantees. If you'd like to know more, email me privately. ienvan?subject=info Ien in the Kootenays, Sinixt Territory**********************************"It is never too late to be what you mighthave been."~George Eliothttp://businesshelpingpeople.comsaving the rainforest, one cup of tea at the time **********************************
