Guest guest
I have a small mole that wants removing, but not surgically. I have heard that bloodroot is a good agent for this when applied externally. Does anyone have any knowledge about this plant for mole removal, or any other advice? TIA, Bright
Guest guest
I have used Pau d'arco tea for this numerous times. I make the tea (4 Ts in 4 cups water, bring to boil and simmer for 20 minutes...store in a jar when cool). Keep the mole as saturated as possible with the tea. I usually by some waterproof bandages or tape you cut yourself....you just don't want it to drip out the bottom. I soak a cottonball and then cover that with a wellfolded tissue to absorb the extra liquid...make sure skin is dry...apply with bandage that's sticky enough to last thru showers to the area, leaving the *top* part open. You will then keep it saturated by adding droperfuls of the tea as many times a day as is convenient and you can remember. Sometimes one waterproof bandage will last me thru 4-5 days of showers...sometimes not as lucky. Anyway, the mole will start to lose it's colour; will eventually become whitish, first in the center. The edges will begin to rise and separate from the skin. Usually in about 8 days it has just fallen off. Guest guest
Quite by accident I discovered that Elemi essential oil began to dry a mole that had been on my face. I had read somewhere that Elemi was good for the skin and began using it. When I realized what was happening to the mole, I began applying Elemi 3 times a day. As the edge of the mole would dry and begin lifting, I would cover that area at night so as not to scrape it off accidently. After 3 days or so, I would gently cut away the dead area. All during this process I would continue using the Elemi. This may not work for everyone, as our bodies all react differently to each oil, but Elemi certainly does have the correct properties for what occurred. Incidently, I did this 3 years ago. There is no sign of the mole returning and there was no scarring. HTH Buffy > I have a small mole that wants removing, but not surgically.
