Guest guest
I suffer from allergies and allergy related asthma. This year is a bad year. I've got most of the symptoms under control EXCEPT the cough. Nothing seems to help me with my cough except sucking cough drops all day long. Literally. If I don't pop another cough drop in my mouth within minutes of finishing the last one, well, the cough's back! All these cough drops have now affected my tongue. It's tender. Spicy food is agony! I'm quite limited in what I can eat now. This has only come up in the last couple of days but I'm in a quandry. I think my tongue will go back to normal if I could just quit using cough drops but I can't be coughing all day. I teach! I need to be able to talk without coughing. Nothing the doctor has given me works. A few years ago, I had this cough that was like a tickle in my throat and got rid of it with the herb " osha " but I bought a bottle of osha and took the whole thing in one day with no improvement. Any suggestions? - Anna ********** Looking for intelligent conversation? Then visit Digna-Petamus ( " Seek worthy things " in case your Latin is rusty.) Guest guest
My husband suffered from something similar and I had him take Spice Trader Essential Oil and it went away. Let me know if you'd like more info. Kim S - <aljuarez Friday, April 23, 2004 9:25 PM Ouch! Chronic cough and now my tongue's hurting > I suffer from allergies and allergy related asthma.
