Guest guest Posted February 23, 2004 Report Share Posted February 23, 2004 dt.23.2.2004 i would like to share one thing with the group. i have written a big note about deities under divine guidance which is more applicable to indian traditions. however, in this i was told that there is a parent deity which others may take it as some sort of archangel. after leaving one body, the spirit waits till the plan for rebirth is finalised. now in indian tradition there is a family deity. i was told that the new birth will also be at a place where this family deity is worshipped. then the deity has to choose the couple, their karma, and one couple is finalised. i was also told that most of the time the moon sign in all the births will be the same. in foreign, people take sun-sign in astrology. as part of my research which could be universally applicable, i would request persons who are working on past lives or who could know about the past lives of self & others to ask their guides about this concidence about their present life & past lives. sometimes people are born in the same family. if their guides confirm about this , this could be a good discovery. in other cases instead of deities, they could mention about specific archangel. if the archangel remains the same in so many births, this means this soul is attached to that archangel, and he is best suited for asking for any type of help. till you go back to god, in every birth, this archangel will be connected to you and he needs to be requested for help. in case he is angry with you, way to please him by prayers etc could be found. another angle which may be seen is about religion as if the family deity is the same, the same type of religion could be followed in this birth. this means if you are catholic or protestant or any other religion, it could be same in all births. if your past birth religion is different , then even if you re born in a family with different religious backgrounds, you may opt for some other religion. in my case, propitiating family deities have given lot of good change in life to so many persons. we have to see how it could be applied to universal cases. i shall be obliged if i get information about this. d.k.kothari, mumbai, india Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
