Guest guest
Hi Group! I was hoping that someone might be able to recommend something I could take for irregular periods. I believe that I have a hormone imbalance (too much testosterone) because I also have excessive body and facial hair growth. I have had this for years - and it has actually healed a great deal already through Reiki and Yoga ... but I need something more. I'm thinking herbs? extracts? Something natural and plant-based. Any advice, suggestions, recommendations etc.. would be appreciated! Thank you so very much. Light and Blessings! ~Dayna
Guest guest
dt.22.2.2004 there is a very simple solution. i have used chakra balancing with reiki for patients of diaorhhia - usually one or 2 sitting are enough. number of cases of mensual problems are relieved up to 75% in say 2/3 sittings. you must have been taught this in your 2nd degree classes. it is the excess energy holed up in root & hara chakra which gives the problem. i have also found that some ladies who had started doing chakra balancing on daily basis, started losing weight with increased energy. energy balance being restored and specially in hara & solar plexus chakras must have resulted in faster removal of toxins from stomach. you can try & see the results. one thing is very sure that you will feel much calmer. those of you who have high bp can first test the bp , do chakra balancing & test the BP again after say 15 minutes. very likely it will come down by around 15. this is my experience. d.k.kothari - Dayna Sunday, February 22, 2004 6:24 AM Hormone Imbalance - Irregular Periods - Help! Guest guest
One way to balance excessive androgens is taking estrogen. Consult an endrocrinologist alongwith a gyneocologist for the best dosage and method. Skin patch is a good way to take HRT, however sometimes it irritates the skin. You may try phythoestrogens, plant extracts which behaves somewhat like estrogens, and your doctor can give you some names and dosages of what is available locally.Efficacy of the same varies from person to person. If only irregular periods is your concern, best way to balance and regularise it is applying Castor Oil Packs. You may use my e-mail in case of emergency. dinesh5015 , " Dayna " <harmonyhealing@e...> wrote: > Hi Group! > > I was hoping that someone might be able to recommend > something I could take for irregular periods. Guest guest
Hi! Vitex/Chaste Tree/Chaste Berry is a know hormone regulator. It is supposed to balance your hormones. I would check with your personal health care practitioner. Read more about it here: http://www.holisticonline.com/Herbal-Med/_Herbs/h211.htm Good luck! Guest guest
Dayna, Have you been checked for Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome? Read about it here: http://www.pcos.net/whatis.html Among other things the symptoms are irregular periods, often weight gain, and hirsutism. The entire glandular system is implicated. The website above suggests treatment with medformin, a rather side effect laden diabetes medication. If you are serious about balancing your system with natural means, you could try a Rainforest Health Pak with Lunazon and metabazon as extra products. I would be glad to send you more detailed info and a tea sample. Guest guest
Dear Len, Thank you so much for your response! I do not have PCOS - and actually my periods have gotten much more regular after I received Reiki treatments and attunements. The hair growth has stopped pretty much too. I would never take medformin. I do believe that my body is still in the process of balancing itself, and I think the herbal supplements would be just the thing I need! Where would I find this Rainforest Pack? I am VERY interested. Thanks again for this information. I really appreciate it. Peace, Light and Good Health! Guest guest
Ien... Good call. I was going to suggest the same. Those are indeed some of the symptoms of PCOS. Perhaps you could ask your regular GYN about a work-up to see if that is a possibility. Guest guest
Hi Dayna, Hormonal imbalance causes amenorrhea or irregular menses. With Reiki and Yoga you can take Biochemic tissue remedies which are very effective to restore the proper hormonal balance. Biochemic is absolutely natural and has no side effects. thanks Dr. J.
