Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how I can get a handle on my stress eating. I am very mindful that whenever I get 'stress out' I reach for salty or sweet foods. I do know how to eat better but those foods don't seem to help me when life is overwhelming. I welcome your input. Guest guest
Reach for jerky or raw vegetables like carrots if you are not diabetic. Dr John D Son

ABS There are of course other ways of reducing stress, like deep breathing, going for a walk, and so on. Yeah, right. Some of us just go for food first. Been there, done that! I used to crave carbohydrates in the worst way when I was stressed! Since one of the reasons I felt stressed was being overweight, that did not help one bit.... Once I started eating AFA algae that pattern pretty much stopped. It nourishes my brain and helps it to create the serotonin and other feel good chemicals that we have not yet discovered. Speaking of the ones we have discovered: AFA is high in PEA, PhenyEthylamine, the a.k.a. the molecule of joy. Another substance high in PEA is chocolate. Need I say more? It's good to be a PEA brain!
