Guest guest
Dear Friend, We live amongst a sea of vibrations and are ourselves a vibratory mechanism for registering these impressions. Most individuals are unaware of the complex vibratory waves that continually touch the shores of their consciousness. However, some individuals are more attuned to these patterns of thought and feeling which emanate off of all living beings. Yet, most who are, are unable to differentiate themselves from that which impinges upon their sensory and extra sensory faculties. Thus, most individuals are not themselves but are rather the unknowing effect of that which others think and feel. In truth, most individuals are as well the effect of what they unknowingly think and feel. You might ask what is the solution to this challenge of which you have written to this forum. The simplicity of the answer is such that few can ever find it. The key to all of life is sound and light. As sound can shatter glass in the physical world, sound properly uttered and profoundly rooted can serve as an instrument for harmonizing the vibrations both within and outside of ourselves. If you sing from your heart, the musical waves of love will afford you an opportunity to reconfigure your inner world and begin to align yourself with cause rather than effect. It is the accumulation of effect upon your being that overwhelms you. Unknowingly, you have accepted the waves of thought and feeling from others and are literally drowning in these inharmonious emanations which have not originated within you. I have offered before a creative exercise which you might consider. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, look into the space between your eyebrows and sing of your love for God and all of life. The waves of Love will flow through your heart and wash away that which has become stuck within you. You will begin contributing to life in a manner that creates continual outflow and will thus free yourself from being the effect of other's outflow. The word which you can sing is HU sung in an elongated manner like HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. Do this for 15 to 20 minutes on a daily basis and everything will begin to change. That is my promise to you. Guest guest
Singing always helps. I think it has a lot of different ways to help. Singing about sorrow can help the grief process along. Singing with friends can draw them closer. Singing is opposite of violence - I really think so. And singing can center me. It is most certainly a means of expression. chryss - Maria Tuesday, January 27, 2004 10:09 AM Re: Singing theraputic? Guest guest
Thank you for your replies, I was wondering if you sing in choirs or clubs or just to yourself? I have been thinking of taking singing lessons but i wonder if that would help... Any thoughts? <chris123mcd@s...> wrote: > Singing always helps. I think it has a lot of different ways to help. Guest guest
Hello, There are many people who teach singing for healing and expression both privately, in groups, and in weekend retreats, etc. Visit the Web site of my dear friend Joy at http://www.soundstarproductions.com to learn more about the awesome power of your voice as a tool for expression and healing. Her book on the topic is available in stores and on her Web site. Many blessings, Michelle , " sanderoo2003 " <sandeeweiler@h...> wrote: > Thank you for your replies, I was wondering if you sing in choirs or > clubs or just to yourself?
