Guest guest
Osiyo, Singing feathers, it it good that you are over those terrible headaches. i, too, no longer have them. Yours is a very good way to relax. i can't play the flute very well, but i have a recording of Nakai'a Feather, Stone & Light and it is very relaxing. I also have no more white sage, last of my plants froze and haven't replaced them. I also like the sweet grass as well as cedar for smudging and it is relaxing. i am under very little stress since i retired, but still enjoy a quiet time to meditate and clear the home of negative things. love.. granny lee In herbal remedies , " singingfeathers " <singingfeathers> wrote: > Osiyo > sorry you are having these head aches > i to use to have bad ones to that lasted up to 90 days or more and i > would end up going to the hospital with them. for i couldnt take them > pain of them or stand light or any smells ect. > but i tried out something and it has so far kepted me out of the > hospital for 6 years. 1. i would take a long bath in lavender, then i > would go to my bed room and burn white mt. sage and play soft flute > music. i found then my head ache would soon go totally away. > > Singing feathers
Guest guest
Elizabeth, I have had a headache or migrain of some sort at least once a week for at least the last 25 years of my life (if not longer). For immediate relief, take a dose of Panther Piss; Lavender and Peppermint oil on the temples (be careful not to get too close or in the eyes), IN fact you can buy a littel tube called " Migrastick " at most health food stores, i find this especially convenient for keeping with me just in case! And a cup of Lavender and Peppermint tea. I have found either Arnica Homeopathic tablets or Arnica gel on the neck work great too. And last but certainly not least...THE CLEANSE! I havent had a headache since the end of week 2 of the cleanse (which makes it 4 weeks). My diet although mostly organic at home, was not very good, and i just jumped in both feet, cold turkey and went for it. Guest guest
Osiyo to u too. wado smiles. i had these headaches since as far back as i could remember. and i got tired of the zombie pills the dr. were putting me on. so i had to find a new way. and got back to my roots. my mother and grandmother knew herbs and i been around them all my life. and it worked for me. flute music i used was on a cd. it was a native american flute. so i added it. as for the sage when i was out of white mt sage i used one called SilverQueen. (Artemisias Ludoviciana) when burned it releases a chem. that helps the muscles relax. smiles. so if u are out of wht. mt. sage look for it it is easy to grow. smiles. on sorry about typing smiles so much it is a old habbit of mine my nana always told me to give ppl a smile it might be the only thing that brightens their day so i do it here in chat too. Love and Light to all. Singing Feathers And thank u all so much for this Group. see i now live in Germany far from home and from my res. so it is not only for learning and chatting on one of the few things i love to but helps with me not getting home sick too.
