yes we too use these. they are really inexpensive! in canada you can

find them at a local canadian tire store. (www.canadiantire.ca

although i don't see them listed online). i think they were less then

$25 canadian for a set of 3. of course if you have to buy the lids

separate (if you break one ;-) ) they are about $6-$8.

As mentioned I found at least 4 or 5 last year at garage sales and

the local thrift store for real cheap! i have a nice large collection!

i think many people avoid them because let's face it everyone

likes " non stick " and we've gotten used to cooking with it. sometimes

we get busy and stuff DOES stick. these pots get hotter the the usual

ones i think and retain the heat longer. my husband dislikes our pots

but i stress to him that they are the healthiest alternative i have

come up with thus far. When 3 got burned in the bottom he gave up

trying to scrub them and stuck them out for the garbage. i saw them,

rescued them and put whole bunch of vinegar and baking soda in the

bottom left them for a day or two and with a little bit of work with

a wooden spoon it all came off and they are shiny and back on our

shelves again. woohoo. LOL
