I later found out they had not harvested in a few years, and were selling algae that had sat in a freezer for 2 years or more. They are now harvesting again, so I don't know about today's. Please take my word for this. Wallmart sells a version for really cheap. One of my "Amazon" friends tried it first. It gave her and her son horrid stomach trouble. They went on to use Aquazon, and are fine now, thank you. I recommended she feed the Wal-Mart stuff to her houseplants. She did, and they are thriving as never before! If your health food store happens to carry "Ancient Sun", that is the one brand that I know for sure to be as good as Aquazon.
