Guest guest
Dear all, As you will undoubtedly have noticed, several members of this list are associated with network marketing companies. I am one of them. Amazon Herb Rainforest Bio-Energetics is my company. http://wildhealing.net We also have Nikken, a brief appearance by MannaTech, Young Living Essential Oils, and of course Dr Stephen and his Segoi. People like us are sometimes resented on boards, often for good reason. It is bad form to turn every post into a commercial. Please bear with me while I explain where most of us are coming from. I imagine I speak on behalf of my colleagues. We have found something that works for us. We use it. We recommend it. We genuinely, sincerely, from the bottom of hearts believe that our product will improve your life. (And if it doesn't, any good company has a money back guarantee. A full year, unconditionally, in the case of Amazon Herb) Yes, we do get paid if our recommendation results in a sale. I remain forever grateful to the friends who introduced me to the algae and later to the rainforest herbs. I have passed the gift on to others, who are grateful to me. Like any human endeavor, network marketing, also known as multi level marketing (MLM) or referral marketing, has a dark side. That dark side is hype and empty promises of effortless quick riches. On the plus side: when it is done well, MLM is a joyful, soulful way to make some extra money or even earn a living. It is also an ongoing adventure in human development, where you get paid to help others succeed. I love it. Not just my own company, but the whole idea. Those not familiar with MLM who are curious can visit the site in my signature file. It goes to a place where associates from all over the industry gather for mutual support. Sort of like an online clubhouse. Take a look, and be my guest! Ien in the Kootenays*********************************"Life is not about finding yourself. Guest guest
Hi Ien, I agree with you. I, too, am with a wellness company. I, too, am not liked by others on the different forums for my postings. And I, too, have found something that has really helped my family and love to share it with others. But I am not a MLM. I don't have to make a make a hugh quota, I don't stock inventory, make deliveries, have high pressure tactics, or even take monies from people. I am only a marketing executive...I just tell people about MY experiences with this company. It's just word of mouth advertising!! If you find a good thing...you like to pass it on. Like a great resturant, a good deal on something in a store...great sales. That's what I do. And yes, I do get paid. This is my business. BUT first and foremost, I am a customer. And like any thing good, I like to pass the information on to others...especially those with children. THAT is my main objective....to help children. See...both of my children are true blessings to me. They both were troubled pregnancies, both were premies. I about lost my oldest one when I was 5 1/2 months pregnant and went into full labor with my other child when I was only 3 months pregnant. My oldest one spent the most of her first year of life in the hospital and the second one was a sickly child until she was 5 sticken with asthma and RSV. Then both were diagnosed with Narcolepsy. A disorder that isn't usually seen until the late teens or early 20's. Yet both of my kids were diagnosed at ages 6 and 5. They've been on the train of Ritalin to Adderal to Nortriptolyne, and also Concerta...a form of Valium for night terrors caused by the Narc. But since I've found this wellness company, I've been blessed to be able to take them off of ALL their meds. They have a friend who is ADD and I've told her parents about the company. They've tried the products and have now taken their child off her meds. And this is a big feet as this child was a holy terror without her meds. So, anything that I can do or say that will help any child is a blessing to me. That's what I am...a Mom on a Mission...MomsTeam. If you would like to check out this company for yourself, please feel free to do so. You can go to either of my sites. http://www.happytobehome.com or http://www.the momteam.com/cgi-bin/mom.cgi?id=li393358 & action=show Here are some other sites you may find interesting. http://householdproducts.nlm.nih.gov/index.htm http://www.epa.gov/kidshometour/ http://www.unsafehome.com/ Thanks for listening to us, Leigh What's lurking in your house? http://www.epa.gov/kidshometour/ If I could show you safer, non-toxic products that were healthier for your family, plus cost less per use...would you switch stores? Guest guest
Dear Ieneke and others, Although a psychologist. I have had a fascination with the nutraceutical industry for over thirty years. During that time I have made a few million dollars in the Network Marketing industry. Yet, my reason for working within this industry has less to do with the prosperity I have enjoyed and far more to so with the quality of interactions and friendships I have come to enjoy. My principle interest in life follows the maxim:Consciousness is the only state worth consideration. I, as many of you, am here to serve the Source of my being and thus all of life. Thus, as you have no doubt observed, my words play harmonies that extend beyond the nutritional question of the moment. For it is my belief that the heart must be first healed before the body begins to resonate to the vibration of wellness. I would like to share with you a thought which I sent out to my associates in Shegoi, as I do most days. "Someone today wrote me a letter about her goals and her desire to learn how to speak to others about Shegoi. She was accepting my offer which I made to my associates. She commented that she was too good of a salesman and had to get out of the "sales mode" I thought you might find my response of benefit. It is not so much that the sales mode is wrong, for it isn't; rather, it is that sales is only a superficial understanding of a universal process of giving and receiving. Sales is exchange and in the exchange, one is most effective if he is more interested in giving than receiving. Thus, what we have to give is respectfully seen as a blessing by us both in its nature and in its effect. Here, we have the salesman who is now the service oriented giver of blessings, knowing that the Law of Balance will bring to him what he requires in order to further serve life." As you can see, my business is only an opportunity which allows me to touch the hearts of others and to offer them insight into universal principles which underlie all of life. Network marketing is in many ways, a microcosm of life. Each of the many companies has a consciousness associated with it which attracts those who resonate to it. Amazon Herbs and Celltech, as well as a few others, attracts those whose purpose in life is to save our planet. Others impact those who have been battered by environmental imbalances which necessitate their attending with passion to ecology as it affects our home environment. I am different than most who are involved in the arena of network marketing in that I do not cognize my mission as the spreading of information about one product or another. Yet, like Ieneke and others, I follow my heart and choose that which best allows me to serve the Source of my being. I am grateful for forums such as this in that they allow individuals to pool their knowledge of alternative answers and to move into areas of greater self responsibility for their own health. I believe that the act of accepting greater responsibility for oneself in one area of life spreads to another. It is always a significant step when a human being begins to see the relationship between cause and effect in his own life. This is often the beginning of man no longer fooling himself into believing he is a victim, no longer being lulled into helpless dependence by an entitlement philosophy and returning to the very roots within which this country was formed. Yet, doing so with a far greater spiritual maturity than existed in the childhood of this nation. As such, I would like to again invite each of you to listen to my interview of four doctors beginning at 9:00 P.M. EST this evening. Simply call 512-225-3202 pin number 443202 #. Please call me at 860-295-1072 or write me at DrSABrown And take the time to examine http://www.freeherpesbook.com/default.jsp?sourceID=N2uk3zW6x34cYB8 Much Love in Spirit, Stephen Ien Van Houten [ien]Friday, January 23, 2004 4:32 PM Subject: That MLM thing Dear all, As you will undoubtedly have noticed, several members of this list are associated with network marketing companies. Guest guest
Dear Dr Brown, Received 9 bottles of your medicine and immediately passed these on to 3 patients two bottles each, with orders of three day folow-up. My Epstein-Barr patient noticed, increased energy supported by lab analysis of leucocyte types and abnormalitys-ie drum stick anonmaly.Evidence of anti-viral activity which,I believe depending upon delivery system would show multivarient viral systemic clearing including some meningenoccal syndromes.Certainly worth exploring Am planning to IV him with homeopathic prep of your product AND feel your product is right up there with other great discoveries of herbal world.I would highly recommend to all readers of alternative answers.
